If you have decided that you’d like to make some extra money online, Google AdSense is a simple, established way to do that. Many people have made lots of money with the Adsense program. As you are just getting started don’t expect to make $1000 a day, but if you follow the guidelines you can make a profit off your webpages.
The way you derive the money is determined by the numbers of clicks that your visitors click on that appear on each of the pages of your website. Signing up for the program is FREE and requires is only a few steps before you’re accepted. From there you begin making money right away. AdSense requires you to have a website or blog address, your Social Security number and 1099 tax information. The Google AdSense website is very user friendly and has all the info right there. When registered, Google will return to you an HTML code which you attach to whatever webpages that you would like ads sent to. Adsense offers text ads, picture ads and they are sent automatically to your page according to the topic that you have. You can then customize the ads by changing colors and font to match your page. How easy is that!
The secret to making money is having the traffic go through your site so that the visitors can click on your ads. Make your blogs and articles interesting and the topics clear and offer free stuff and other freebies to draw more visitors to the site. Then Google will send ads that match your webpage topic and people like to click on the topic they were searching for.
When you are in your AdSense account, you will see all the areas you can go to and get help in setting up. It will show how many times your ad has come up and how many clicks have hit each one. As the click accumulates, so will your credit. Google will wait until you have at least $50 and then they will send you either a check or they will directly deposit into your bank account. Google has made a lot of people a lot of money, so don’t get discouraged if you’re not making money immediately. It will be slow at first until you get to know the ins and outs of AdSense. Never hesitate to go back into your Google AdSense account and try a new look for your ads. Your return visitors will like this and by updating key words and titles you can draw more people to your site.
If you start your webpage with another company besides Google, you will need to add the code to your site’s address so that Adsense knows to send ads there, but it you open a blog with blogger.com, the ads will be sent because blogger is a part of Google. Many blogs are using Adsense successfully as well as using webpages.
